Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce Ryan Frisch as the new Head Professional at The Landing at Reynolds Lake Oconee. No stranger to the golf operations at Reynolds Lake Oconee, Frisch brings with him over a decade of community experience. First hired on as assistant at the National course in December of 2004, he later transitioned to Great Waters in 2005 and became Tournament Director for the entire community in 2007.
In May 2008, he returned to club operations in an assistant role and has held lead assistant positions over the past seven years at Creek Club, National, Oconee and Plantation. Prior to his recent promotion to Head Golf Professional, Frisch was serving as the Lead Assistant at the Oconee course.
“I’m really excited for Ryan,” says Mark Lammi, vice president of golf operations at Reynolds Lake Oconee. “His leadership abilities, understanding of both the member and resort portions of the operations, and past experiences as a Lead Assistant will serve him very well in his new role.”
Originally from Middletown, Ohio, Frisch currently resides in Eatonton with fiancée, Emily Fishbaugh and their daughter, Lily. The couple is expecting their second child, a son, this fall.
The original golf course built at Lake Oconee, The Landing made its landmark debut in 1986, setting the stage for what has become a premier golf destination. The par-72 course, which plays to a maximum of 7,048 yards, was designed by award-winning architect Bob Cupp.
