The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the appointment of Corwin Parker as golf sales manager of the resort. Parker brings diverse marketing, golf event planning and golf sales management experience honed at top organizations across the east coast to the Lake Oconee hotel.

“Our world-renowned golf courses remain one of the most revered assets of the resort, and we strive to preserve their reputation while still evolving our golf program to remain among the best in the southeast,” said Ralph Vick, The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee general manager. “Corwin brings substantial golf management knowledge to our team, and we look forward to his forthcoming impact on the golfing experience here.”

Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee team, Parker operated as the first-ever golf sales manager at Sea Island Resort, a Forbes five-star property. While at Sea Island, he spearheaded sales campaigns focused on golf groups, which resulted in room revenues of above one million dollars over his three-year tenure. In 2011, prior to joining Sea Island, he assisted in the planning and execution of a successful Deutsche Bank Championship in Norton, Mass., where  he implemented strategic planning for the world-class PGA Tour Playoff event, including hosting championship players, corporate clients, business partners, guests and volunteers. From 2007 to 2010, Parker worked as Associate/Assistant Director of Marketing at Renova Partners, LLC in Wellesley, Mass. While with Renova Partners, he created original marketing material for the company’s projects and was instrumental in its 20 percent financial growth over a three-year period.

“Golf has always been a passion of mine, and I have long admired the outstanding courses at      The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee,” said Parker. “It is an honor to join the team here and have the opportunity to contribute to the golf program’s continued success and expansion.”

Parker graduated from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration specializing in Real Estate Finance. He looks forward to settling into his new Lake Oconee home.

Mark Lammi, vice president of gold at Reynolds Lake Oconee, echoes Vick’s sentiments stating, “Corwin’s contributions to the further development of our program will be far-reaching and help us continue to be one of the great resort golf destinations in the country.”
