The Infinity Pool at the Lake Club was recently recognized with the Merit Award from the Tri-State American Society of Landscape Architects. The award was presented on Thursday, April 3 at the Tri-State Awards Gala in Asheville, N.C. in recognition of outstanding professional achievement. Wood+Partners Inc. of Hilton Head, S.C., who served as the project’s architect, accepted the award on behalf of Reynolds Lake Oconee.
“The WPI team was honored to have this project selected by our peers,” says Todd Theodore, principal registered landscape architect of Wood+Partners Inc. “This is one of the many exceptional projects WPI has completed at Reynolds over the years. We are so fortunate to have had this opportunity and look forward to many future endeavors at Reynolds Lake Oconee.”
This award recognizes the unique qualities of the Lake Club’s Infinity Pool by integrating the lake view experience, and taking advantage of the hillside by creating a reflective upper terrace pool and a lower cascade pool.
