Reynolds Plantation Properties is pleased to announce Jim Carpenter and Chris Hewatt as the Sales Team of the Month for November 2014. The pair collectively had 5 transactions totaling over $2.9 million, giving them the top honors for the company.

Originally from the metro New York area, Jim Carpenter and his wife, Kristie, discovered and moved to Reynolds Lake Oconee eleven years ago. “The sheer beauty of Lake Oconee and the surrounding area was most attractive to Kristie and me,” says Carpenter. “We were reminded of a meticulously groomed Adirondack region of update New York where we both spent a lot of time growing up. Reynolds Lake Oconee also allowed us the opportunity to get involved in the community, both inside and outside the gates.”

Carpenter started as a full-time sales executive with the Reynolds Plantation Properties team in April 2013, bringing with him 7 years of prior real estate experience in the Lake Oconee area. He also reached the million dollar mark in sales during his first year selling for the company. Carpenter is an active volunteer within the local community, having just completed his ninth year as the kicking coach for the Greene County High School football team.

Chris Hewatt moved to Reynolds Lake Oconee from Hilton Head, South Carolina just over a year ago, bringing with him more than sixteen years of real estate experience. “My wife, Marybeth, and I instantly fell in love with the lifestyle and various amenities Reynolds Lake Oconee has to offer,” says Hewatt. “With 3 sons, this is a great place to raise a family.”

In just over a year since Hewatt started with the sales team, he too reached the million dollar mark in real estate sales. Prior to Reynolds Plantation Properties, Hewatt was recognized for several years as a Million Dollar Club member, Salesman of the Year, and Top Producer in Volume and Transactions while selling real estate in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Hewatt focuses on building lasting relationships with his clients, currently holding over thirty repeat customers and a high referral percentage from pervious customers.
